Cattle Crossing - redundant?

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2381566.

At this location there are traffic lights and signs relating to a cattle crossing. The signs and lights are obscured by the overgrown hedge. So, if the cattle crossing is still in use - motorists will not have a clear view of the signs and lights. If the crossing is no longer in use, could this redundant apparatus be removed?
