Manhole cover loose

Reported via desktop in the Gully or manhole defect category by Michele Kondakor at 17:18, Tue 10 November 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

Outside 257 Hinckley Road, the tarmac is cracked all around the manhole cover and it is making a racket every time a vehicle drives over it. It must be driving the residents mad; it was annoying nough as I was just walking along. Need urgently fixing.

  • Walked past earlier today, manhole cover is very noisy! It is outside 265 Hinckley Road, not 257, thanks.

  • I have let WCC know that I put 257 instead of 267. Hope it gets sorted soon.

  • WCC told me that it had been passed to Severn Trent. I'll try and chase them up about it tomorrow.

  • They have just tarmacked over it and within an hour it is cracking. I am awaiting a response from Severn Trent and have also let WCC highways know.
