Manhole cover in lane on A47 towards Leicester has sunk and the metal cover is extremely loose and bangs loudly each time a vehicle drives over it.

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:02, Tue 10 November 2020

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2379866.

The metal cover appears to have sunk and is now really loose, so every time a vehicle goes over it, it bangs very loudly. Possible danger to motorcyclists or if cover works loose and comes unattached will definitely be a danger to all vehicles - it has been like this for a couple of months, but it is getting worse now. (its between 113/111 Hinckley Road, Leicester Forest East, LE3 3PF).
