R19 + R20 street lights not working
Reported via mobile in the Street lighting category anonymously at 08:51, Tue 10 November 2020
Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2379839.
Street light R19 outside my house has been out since July, I reported it in August, and several times since. Been told around 3 times the report has been sent to a supervisor? Despite this the light is still broke, my daughter a key worker tripped on pavement due to the dark. The light opposite R20 has also been off for a few weeks making the corner of Tweedsmuir Rd and Redpath Drive extremely dark, making this area unsafe. There are quite a few elderly folk around here too, only a matter of time before something serious happens if the lights aren’t repaired ASAP

Street light R19 been out since July. I reported it in August. I know neighbours have reported it too. Street light R20 went out around 2 months ago? Making our corner extremely dark. This is a busy road with buses going up and down it. Now looks like road work getting done, meaning half of the pavement is going to cordoned off. There are around 7/8 street lights off on Tweedsmuir Rd alone. This isn’t good for a lot of the old folk that live around here, both on safety and security issues. Come Glasgow City Council get our lights fixed! Sick of hearing Covid-19 am sure council workers can wear a mask. I am a keyword in local hospital and wear a mask all day.
