Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later
The tree, a mountain ash, was killed by the council strimmers and recently a mower collided with it, as the gash was present soon after as were the dead branches presumably were broken off by the shock. I have reported the dead tree by trelephone several times over the course of (probably) about two years. The tree should be replaced. The road was originally an avenue (less onbiously so now) and a decent flowering tree such as a cherry was typical then and shpould be used now.
