The current maintenance of the pedestrian / cycleway markings on combined footpaths around Rugby is dreadful. Leaves are covering the markings that delineate the pedestrian and cycleway sides. If you walk the length of both the Dunchurch Road, you will find lots of markings that have faded beyond recognition and in some areas don't even seem to correspond with the associated blue round signs. Also, overhanging branches from gardens and waste areas are forcing pedestrians (above 5 foot 9 inches in height) into the path of cyclists. Too many cyclists carry on riding on tight footpaths, after ignoring or not seeing the signage that directs cyclists to return to the road.
