  • Seems odd to replace a street light after a car has driven into it, repair it and not check it is working after. Perhaps this is just a way of saving on street lighting expense. However, this light is on a small side road junction of Sandhurst Lane where at night many motorists speed (even overtake) round the corner on the A259 from Eastbourne risking life and limb to anyone who may be in their way.
