Road Name Sign Gone
Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 10:53, Fri 24 February 2012
Sent to Hampshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 234061.
The road sign name is gone. It looks like it has been snapped off and stolen. Look at the dirty loo roll and filthy fast-food bag too. Very bad. Priority: Blue

The sign is still missing. The posts designed to proudly hold aloft the road name, guiding lost wanderers towards their destination, stand forlornly, relics from a forgotten age, their purpose lost to the mists of time. Listen carefully and you can hear them speak: "Oh NFDC, why have you forsaken us?" These are sad times indeed.

This has sort of been fixed. I'm saying 'sort of' because it was fixed by removing the sign support stands. So it is fixed in terms of, say, if someone stole the wheels to your car and instead of getting new wheels you had your car crushed into a cube that you threw away. So yes, more problem rendered irrelevant due to disproportionate action than actually fixed, but I guess Fixed will have to suffice.
