Potholes on Cloud Lea

Reported via Android in the Potholes category by Tim Forrester at 13:03, Tue 13 October 2020

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2338933.

Several small potholes are developing on the road outside 22 and 24 Cloud Lea, Mountsorrel, LE12 7DX. Also, water tends to pool on this part of the road during heavy rain even though there is a drain close by.

  • Some workmen came and laid new tarmac over the biggest pothole last week. However, when it rains there is still a big puddle over where the tarmac has been laid because the rainwater still doesn't flow into the nearby drain. Also, one of the workmen put some tarmac into one of the smaller potholes but didn't fill it in properly and didn't seal the edges with hot tar like he did with the other pothole, so now there's a pothole with loose tarmac in it. Suffice to say they didn't do a good job. It's been a waste of my time reporting it.
