3 foot pothole in middle of road

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This pothole has been here for at least 2 months since I moved here. The problem is getting worse with rain, etc. It is down to Type 1 layer with large stones on the road. Some of these are being picked up by passing cars and hitting cars. I have swept once but it keeps getting worse.

Hi folks, this was my first ever report and I have to say the only word is Wow! Within 1 hour there was a chap outside taking photos and spraying on the road to mark out the hole and weakness in the tarmac. 1 week later I returned home and the hole was fixed. If this is the process then everyone in the UK should be posting here for trouble free roads :-) We all have our part to play Many thanks
