Speeding at school bus crossing point and throughout day and night

Sent to East Northamptonshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2329449.
With the County Council and Police rolling out Operation Journey, due to increased deaths and injury on the county roads, when will you place traffic calming measures in this area. The A43 is like a race track. 30mph is a dream. We need average speed cameras. Stop spending our council tax payers money on the cities. You say.....The Fatal Four - speeding, drink/drug driving, not wearing a seatbelt and using a mobile phone at the wheel - are the motoring offences which are most commonly linked to death or serious injury on the roads.

No apparent interest is speeding. Have to wait for an accident. Poor messaging.

Still as bad.

Speeding now worse and more frequent. No police patrols evident. I have had some correspondence from the Chief Constable, asking if I would like to pay more for policing services next year, on top £2000+ of the council tax for emptying my bins. Increase must be for patrols in the cities.

No change to speeding other than a 5% increase in the council tax for policing. So it now costs more for nothing to be done. That counts as progress in Northamptonshire.

Stillspeeding through the village. Council Tax increased. No action taken. We do have new signs for North Northants now. That should help. Perhaps some new offices.

Speeding on this part of the A43 remains a real issue. 5% extra on policing is well above inflation and we are not seeing any action on this.

Speeding remains an issue, through villages on the A43. 5% additional pay was taken from us to increase policing. This is spend in the Nothants cities and towns, whilst the villages pay. For this issue to ve solved, something must change. If we cxan't have police, give us average speed cameras or spend less on police commisioners and their staff and offices.

Not fixed. Someone will have to die before action is taken.

Accident on A43, this morning, where I have reported speeding. Car hit stationary vehicle. Will we ever see action or must someone die? Speed cameras or average speed control. There are plenty around Northampton, on a ring road, which the villages pay for. How about we get a slice of the pie? If you are not going to do something, stop putting the council tax up to pay for you commissioners and fancy offices.

140 people caught speeding in a 3 hr period, last week. Very bad accident today about a mile further up the A43. We need average speed cameras of some form of permanent solution. The villages are sick of hikes in council tax to pay for the to towns and cities of Northants.
