Dangerous parking

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2328059.

For years and years cars are being dumped , some have been left for so long that the verge-hedge is growing over them , either scrap cars or other associated uses from Greenwood’s , I have had countless near misses either from cars coming out the site blindly or cars coming up or down the road. Double yellow lines are being ignored. They were put there for a purpose that is not being enforced.

Daily there are confrontations with Normal law abiding car uses and the site owners etc , several times I have seen a gang of men come out the site intimidating road users , it simply must stop.

The council must enforce all powers possible to rein in this boil on the highway.

Secondly their ditch is blocked , it causes waters to come out onto the road , they must dig their ditch out to stop the flow onto the road.

Please act accordingly with the law of the land.

  • Parking is dreadful here and no one does anything about it, the road is collapsing due to vehicles driving over to avoid illegally parked cars which are on double yellow lines.
