Tree leaning into the road as pole holding it rotted.
Reported via mobile in the Public Trees category anonymously at 13:14, Mon 5 October 2020
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2326110.
A tree was planted outside number 6 Westhurst Drive about 2 - 3 years ago with a pole to hold it, the pole has rotted at the bottom and now the tree is leaning into the road. (As a temporary measure 2 pieces of wood and a plastic band have been screwed to the rotted pole so the tree doesn't fully lean over the road and cause damage to parked cars / passing traffic). The leaning of the tree was caused over the weekend with the winds and rain.

No action at all has been taken in relation to this matter no one has ever been seen looking at it by any of the neighbours. The post that was once holding the tree up along with another piece of wood we tried to secure it with were blown over in the wind and have been laying on the verge in the same position for at least the last 3 weeks. A car usual parks there and it leans over it, last night the road was emptied fir the Father Christmas sleigh to come through, just before and just after 2 delivery lorries passed by the tree and knocked it as it us leaning in the road. This is a 2 minute job if someone could be bothered to attend.
