Cycle path runs out at St Nicholas Place estate.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2324448.
The cycle path along the pavement heading South from Heyford Hill Roundabout ends at the traffic lights for the St Nicholas Place new development. It seems like no thought has gone into how a cyclist should go from this cycle route to southbound on the A4074 in the direction of Berinsfield.
There is a tarmac path continuing South from St Nicholas Place, but it's not clear whether bikes are allowed on this, and there is no dropped kerb to get back onto the highway.

Dear Mr Parkes,
The formal 3m cycle route only runs north (from the site) and terminates further towards the Sainsbury’s entrance, before returning to a 2m footway. There is also a 3m wide cycleway from the new development, across the controlled crossing to the other side of the A4074 and follows the newly constructed and lit tarmac path (i.e. towards Sandford Village across the field), delivered as part of the associated S278 works for the development. The tarmac path running south of the A4074 from the development is only intended as a 2m footway leading towards the new bus stop. Essentially, where there is a 3m wide path, that is the formal cycle route. There are various cyclist dismount and shared use signs that have been installed, to hopefully clarify along with dropped kerb facilities etc.
Kind regards
Road Agreements Team

I reported that the cycle path runs out at St Nicholas place, with no indication as to how to then get from it onto the southbound A4074. The response from the council doesn't address this at all.
