Sloping pavement with no raised kerbstones.
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 22:05, Thu 1 October 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2321105.
The gradient of Red Cross Road north to south is steep for a wheelchair user. The pavement on the west side slopes steeply towards the kerb. The combination of the two gradients makes it difficult for wheelchair users and elderly and disabled pedestrians to navigate the route, which is the approach to the medical surgery from Goring High Street. The kerb should be built up to ~4 inches and the pavement levelled from the fence to the kerb. The pavement the opposite side of the road is even more difficult to navigate due to narrow width so most people rely on the west side pavement.

Am I correct in assuming this will be dealt with as part of the Goring High Street works, due to begin on 11 January 2021?

This pavement, an approach to Goring surgery where covid vaccine is being dispensed, will be treacherous for pedestrians in the event of snow and frost.
