Tile Kiln Lane Exit from "Turner Free"

Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 17:46, Wed 30 September 2020

Sent to Kent County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2319297.

Tile Kiln Lane (From Caesars Way, to, Harcourt Road), during Turner Free Schools leaving time, someone is going to be injured. Since this years September increase in Pupils, the area needs the same treatment, as Coolinge Lane, outside Folkestone School for Girls. I'd suggest: Zig Zags on the south side, and, double yellows on the north side (allowing a few bays outside Marsh Motors). Currently, parents ability to park safely, along with students ability to safely view the road, is impaired, on this narrow road.

Updates

  • After speaking to some of the mums it has got worse, and they are even worried about driving past before, during and after both times of the day.

  • It's worse. Cars parked on grass, even during the middle of the day. Near collisions with lorries and Cross Keys coaches. So so bad. Dread passing it every day.
