Hello, This is a message from a group of neighbours on COMPTON WAY regarding several issues. FIRSTLY, there is no visibility whatsoever when trying to come out of COMPTON WAY. A yellow line needs to be put in front of the Baptist church for 2 spaces. We had many near miss accidents as people drive relatively fast on the main road and again, due to the way the road is bent, there is absolutely no visibility trying to come out and no time to pull car back if needed. PLEASE act on this as soon as possible to prevent any accidents happening. This has been reported in the PAST and nothing has been done about this. There should always be a restriction for parking before a junction to prevent accidents!!! Another point of matter on COMPTON WAY is that the people living on the main road, as well as the visitors at the 2 pubs and the offices situated right at the start of Compton Way overflow the road and cul de sac with parked cars, there is NO space for us to park. PLEASE open another stretch of parking on the main road. Please also introduce Neighbour parking schemes for us to reduce the flow from the pubs and offices, but also parking of working vans -we have several at the moment parking on COMPTON WAY that block the pavement, road, cars currently park on glass here. THANK YOU very much.
