Manhole cover in High St not fitted correctly - moves when run over by vehicles

A High St located manhole cover in High St, close to Brasenose College is badly fitted/loose. Every time a vehicle runs over it there is a loud noise which causes disturbance and may be a sign that it will fail.

    The attached image identifies the chamber which was reported to yo u on 21 September 2020. As of this morning has still not been attended to. Can you please confirm when the problem has been fixed.

  • This issue still hasn't been resolved and is getting worse! The drain cover makes a loud clank/bang every time a vehicle passes over it. It's driving those of us who live or work by it mad.

    I don't think it would take much work to fix it. Please could it be done asap.
