Dangerous parking on Nelson Road , Furzeham
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 18:45, Thu 17 September 2020
Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2300014.
Dangerous parking both sides of the pinch point in Nelson Road , Furzeham, Brixham TQ5 8BH. The Refuse trucks can barely get through ( this is today's photo) & recently the ambulance couldn't get through in an emergency. The double yellow lines stop just before this narrow pinch point - which should be continued & with the legal signs on posts too. its absolutely ridiculous & so dangerous that people are legally allowed to park both sides - sometimes leaving their cars here all week whilst they stay at holiday properties with no parking.

Ridiculous response....Torbay Council say they haven't got the funds to put yellow lines down....with the legal costs allegedly entailed! My reply to them was when someone dies because the ambulance or fire engine cant get through - I hope they feel. responsible!

Its absolutely ridiculous that Torbay Council or Highways cannot put double yellow lines there...we are only talking about 20 feet or so..on the pinch point!

Totally ridiculous & so very dangerous- but nothing will be resolved with Highways or Council...so we just have to put up with it & hope nobody dies when ambulances & fire engines cannot get through.
