  • I think this is column 8B — pavement outside and slightly south of Sainsburys, Frideswide Sq. Column with two lights.. one is only glowing, the other might, or might not, be glowing very very slightly.

  • We are having trouble locating the light you are referring to as it doesn't match up with our map. Is the light on the map in the image attached?

  • Good Morning,

If you are unable to identity which lamp is broken by the pictures, I’d advise sending an inspector to do an assessment of the lighting situation on Fridewide Square, so that you can make your own judgement on what needs work. I find it extremely hard to understand how such clear photographs can still be misunderstood, must say something about the people who work in the council.

  • Thank you for bringing this to our attention, unfortunately the unit(s) you are referring to are not owned, maintained or adopted by Oxfordshire County Council, these are private lights that would be the responsibility of the developer/landowner whom you would need to contact direct.

Unfortunately we do not keep records of private units. Please accept our apologies as we cannot assist any further on this occasion.

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
