Local Authority trees overgrowing private property

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 10:30, Wednesday 9 September 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

A large Ash tree and a large Cherry tree stand between the gardens of nos 15 and 17 Prince Grove and Dunmore Road. Both are getting large and significantly overhang the gardens of these properties (by up to 16 ft) The Cherry tree is also starting to overhang the footpath/cycle track on Dunmore Road. Whilst not wishing to reduce the screening benefit of these trees with regard to the proposed new housing off of Dunmore Road both households would appreciate work to reduce their height and to address the problem of overhanging branches. Would you please advise who is responsible for these trees and when such work could be undertaken.
