Social distancing on pavement impossible
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 13:33, Tue 8 September 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2284458.
Since the road barriers were removed outside East Bristol Bakery, it is virtually impossible to social distance on this stretch of pavement. The bakery usually has a long queue stretching down the pavement, and often people are walking in the road to avoid walking too close to people waiting.
The barriers need to return to make this safe for local residents.

Just an update to say that the removal of these Bollards is a real mid-step. The idea that the council would suggest that life is ‘back to normal’ now is mind boggling. The council should be encouraging residents who want to socially distance.
