Tree has lifted paving stones on pavement
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 17:10, Sun 6 September 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2281159.
A lovely tree was planted by the council a few years ago in the pavement outside 37 Highland Road (house with black railings). The tree now needs pruning as the branches are now touching parked cars but, more importantly, the tree roots are lifting several paving stones in the pavement which could cause people to trip and fall. This stretch of the pavement is well used as people walk down to Shortlands station or local primary school or nearby church or on their way into Bromley, including old folk. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Please could someone come and look at it?
