Dangerous exposed fencing and post in the sand dunes

Reported anonymously at 21:16, Fri 4 September 2020

Sent to Folkestone and Hythe District Council and Kent County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2279087.

Old fencing post (and metal wire, not photographed) has become exposed and is a hazard to wildlife and beach users. They are in an area which is frequently used by children and young people, who like to run down and jump off the top of the dunes (now risking landing on the wire or the post).

  • Sadly no action has been taken and there is more wire fencing being exposed as a result of the recent stormy weather.
