The parking at the junction of Campden Close and Valance Crescent

The issue of parking on the junction of Campden Close and Valance crescent is one that is becoming bigger and bigger and unless it addressed soon will without doubt lead to a major incident either between two vehicles or vehicle and pedestrians. There is indiscriminate parking on both Campden Close and Valance Crescent making entry and exit from Campden Close extremely precarious without have clear view of oncoming traffic. This has been an issue for a considerable amount of time but has become a major issue over the last 12 months. This is the beginning of my petitioning for the installation of double yellow lines around the junction to a distance of at least 15 metres in both directions on Campden Close and Valance Crescent. To enable at leat some visibility in both directions. This will affect parking by my own property however I feel this is of greater concern as I personally have already been involved in 2 near misses through lack of visibility. If installed I hope the restrictions would be policed and penalised as appropriate This is a greater problem in late/afternoon & evening and weekends .
