Reported in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 16:05, Friday 4 September 2020

Sent to Hillingdon Borough Council less than a minute later

There is an abandoned Rolls Royce at the junction of Copthall Road East and Wallasey Cres bearing the Reg No 777 WXX. It has no engine, but it does have plenty of rust. It appeared overnight and is obviously derelict.

Updates

  • I have been in touch with the council several times since the report, but the car is still there. Despite it obviously unroadworthy condition and the fact it has not been MOTd since 2009 the council are about to claim they can do nothing about it.

  • The council claim that that could do nothing.despite the fact that the car cannot possibly be taxed as it not old enough to be exempt and it has not been MOTd since 2009. Although the DVLA website states that it was taxed a little investigation would have shown it was a mistake. I gather that a passing police patrol spotted it and traced the owner who removed it the same day.
