Filter lane markings
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 15:59, Wed 2 September 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2275379.
The 'new' cycle lane hash marks placed along Windmill Road have extended part way into the two designated filter lanes for traffic turning into Windmill Road from Old Road making these almost impossible to see. As a result the two solid white lines designed to identify the filter lanes on the junction for turning traffic are hardly visible on approach. These should be remarked and any other markings removed from within these lines.

Coming from the Slade going ahead towards Headington You cannot see speed limit change ( hidden in bushes) Also as soon as you get into Rd There is a 30 mph repeater( should not be there) Then have 20 repeaters too close together Also some side roads have 20 mph Signs Shouldn’t be there as there is no change of speed . Then half way up the road repeaters stop Traffic management and planning Need to be more vigilant, Traffic signs are there to answer not ask a question . This work was started last Friday Kind regards
