A tree in the conservation area alongside the college has broken in teh recent storms and a large branch itself the size of a small tree is hanging over the fencing and into the shared cycle/foot path.

A tree in the conservation area alongside the college has broken in the recent storms and a large branch itself the size of a small tree is hanging over the fencing and into the shared cycle/foot path.

  • When I went through here a couple of days ago it was till hanging into the footpath

  • It's now mid October, about six weeks since I first reported this and when I went past a couple of days ago it was only getting worse, the footpath side of the shared use foot/cycle path is now completely covered meaning pedestrians are forced to use the cycle path side.

  • It's now October 28th, I went past this tree today & the huge branch in question if now resting firmly on the footpath covering about three quarters of it, I imagine it won't be too long before the mass of Ivy that is holding the whole thing together finally breaks free & the lot comes down taking the fence with it.
