Overgrown greenery on Quarry Road

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 14:51, Fri 28 August 2020

Sent to Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2268316.

Pedestrians trying to keep a safe social distance from each other by using opposite pavements on Quarry Road can't use pavement on north side between Stratton Road and Northbrook Avenue due to overgrown shrubbery, and get wet from wet greenery following rain. Especially annoying for those pushing a buggy, holding a small child's hand, using a wheelchair, walking a dog, etc. This is also a problem in front of Abbeygate Care Home at 42 Quarry Road. Surely there shouldn't be anything encoraching on the full width of the pavements?
