The tree outside my house in Glendon Gardens, Bulkington has damaged my tarmac drive and the roots continue to damage the tarmac. I have reported this many times to WCC over the last 2 years but had no response. I will soon need to be compensated for a new drive.

Workmen arrived today to re tarmac the path. However they told me that they were not allowed to re tarmac my drive where the tree roots have broken through. They eventually did dih up the tarmac on my drive around the tree root, but told me they were not legally allowed to remove the tree root. What was the point in that. The whole reason for reporting this problem is that your tree's roots have damaged my drive. I now have a partly repaired drive but the tree roots are still underneath it. Please arrange for the tree roots to be removed from my drive way and for it to be repaired correctly. This particular tree is causing more damage to other areas. Surely removing the tree would cost less than re-tarmacing.
