Light shining into bedroom at night

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2260140.

The street light outside 19 Burras ave is on all night and shines into the bedroom, despite curtains. Very bright! Unable to use the room. Could it either be switched off at midnight, or could we have a better ‘guard’ on the back of the lamp, such as the large one on Burras Lane. Thankyou.

  • Still unable to use the bedroom, despite blinds and curtains. Please could you attach a shield at the back of the light to prevent the light pollution. (A similar shield has been attached to the light on Burras Lane, which is very successful.)
