Branches from Highbroom Wood falling in our garden.
Reported in the Public Trees category anonymously at 08:54, Sat 22 August 2020
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2257761.
In yesterday's wind three branches from overhanging branches fell from Highbroom wood (north side of stream) into the garden of #55, while my wife was weeding a nearby bed. Slight damage to fence, but risk of injury is the priority. Clearly these overhanging branches have become a danger and need to be cut back. The trees near the boundary of Highbroom have not been attended to for some time, and are in need of pruning and a safety review. This should include the growth onto South Eden Park Road obscuring the road sign for the roundabout. If access is required I can be contacted on the number provided with my info on this site. (NB I can't select the tree on the map on the web site - it is defaulting to the nearest tree on SEPR)

The tree has been inspected and works have been raised to address an identified health & safety or highway obstruction issue. Please note that works beyond that to reduce the tree size, cut back to the boundary, telephone lines etc will not be taken as outlined in our Tree Management Strategy (https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ downloads/ file/ 3334/ tree_management_strategy_2016-2020)
