Glendale REFUSED to cut grass
Reported anonymously at 12:23, Thu 20 August 2020
Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2254988.
How are they NOT firing this person? After being aggressive to a TAX PAYER, the next time this SAME council contractor turns up, he DELIBERATELY cuts all other patches of grass, yet refused to do WHAT HE WAS PAID TO DO, and avoided cutting the grass in front of our house. The council can shamefully avoid the issue when taxpayers are abused, but can they avoid it, when they are paying for a service, and out of sheer spite, a contractor doesn't carry out WHAT HE IS PAID TO DO? THIS CONTRACTOR MUST BE FIRED NOW. GLENDALE AREN'T FULFILLING THEIR CONTRACT, THUS ANOTHER GARDENING SERVICE MUST BE HIRED. THEY ARE GETTING PAID, BUT NOT DO8ING THE WORK? WHY ARE WE PAYING COUNCIL TAX AGAIN? SORT IT - TODAY - NO EXCUSES THIS TIME ABOUT BEING CONTRACTORS - THEY DIDN'T DO THE JOB!

Glendale refuse to cut the grass (three times they even ADMIT IT!), "Gardener was rude and abrasive to TAX PAYERS. Council claimed it's not their issue (even thought they have a duty of care). Then the "investigation" was held only by contacting the very people in breech of contract, then council has the nerve to admonish us, letting off totally people who deliberately act abusively towards pensioners!
How is a grass contractor who REFUSES to cut grass still holding a contract? And to just take their word for it (they have a REASON to lie) is gross misconduct by the council.

The council refused to take action. Treated me as a liar, yet took the abusive glendale employee word without a shred of evidence.
Glendale admitted on written document, they refused to complete the job they were contracted to do.
The council decided to attack the whistleblowing tax payer.
Jobs need to end over this, yet council only care in keeping their corruption scam going

Rather than go after contractors abusing TAX PAYERS and pensioners, instead the council feels it is appropriate to try and chastise TAX PAYERS FOR THE "crime" of expecting the council to complete their duty of care and their armed forces covenant. Gotta save money for their disgraceful pay rises - instead of firing abusive and incompetent staff / contractors.
