Back to all reports

Loose, clanking, manhole cover STILL - 9 months.

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Greg Collins at 11:39, Friday 14 August 2020

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later

I originally reported this in December, and again in January. I watched as a guy in hi-viz stood on the kerb looking at it for a few mins. Unsuprisingly, since the cars were moving out from the kerb to avoid him, it didn;t clank during his few minutes of observation.

I put up with it all through lockdown, but now traffic levels are back to near normal on Hurst Road meaning the CONSTANT REPEATED CLANKING starts around 05:00 am every morning.

Please, please, PLEASE can this be attended to now we are out of lockdown?

PLEASE.
