Vehicle attempting to exit junction illegally, forced to back up & in collision with the bollards.

Reported anonymously at 21:14, Wednesday 12 August 2020

Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later

So the vehicle Y48NJB tried to exit Eastern Avenue onto Wokingham Road illegally, despite the obvious no-entry sign. On attempting to exit, they were met by another car entering the road illegally, and also a cyclist coming down the path from Cemetery Junction who was forced to brake hard. The car exiting illegally - Y48NJB - was then forced to back up to allow the other car to enter the junction. At this point, they spotted me taking pictures, and decided to back up completely and turn around. In backing up, the silver car Y48NJB hit a bollard on the pavement, causing damage to it. This is an everyday occurrence at this junction & is dangerous. Luckily this time I got photos & have reported to TVP.
