Brick edge above drainage ditch has collapsed

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 08:41, Sun 9 August 2020

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later

At the entrance to Glynde, Colt Holt. Right side, if you are facing the house. A drainage ditch runs along the front of the properties and under the entrance to my drive. At the side of my drive there is a supporting brick pier. On the right side, there was a row of bricks, on top of a scaffold board, rather than an extension to the brick structure below. The scaffold board has rotted and was in danger of collapsing, so I have removed the bricks and stacked them behind my gatepost. There is now a large gap. I'm not sure if the board / bricks were put in place by the previous owner as a decorative effect, or if they should be part of the ditch construction and rebuilt properly. The left hand side is a proper brick construction.
