Flytipping and litter

Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 20:00, Thursday 6 August 2020

Sent to Sheffield City Council less than a minute later

Flytipping and rubbish outside properties on Grimesthorpe Road. Children from 279 were smashing up a TV on the footpath. Rubbish and flytipping sprawls right along Grimesthorpe Road to Ellesmere Road North including grass areas and banking and requires a thorough regular clean up. More staff need employing to ensure proper clean ups take place and not partial rushed clean ups. Cameras need installing.

Updates

  • Been this evening and taken a dozen photos but only able to upload 3, it's horrendous. The footpath, grass and in the bushes are full of flytipping, rubbish and litter. My photos show a very small percentage of what is there, it spreads from Ellesmere Road opposite Malton Street all the way to Grimesthorpe allotments but the worst area is the dead end bit of Grimesthorpe Road, the whole banking running down from Ellesmere Road North, the steps and weeds/bushes to the side of the steps, grass, road and footpath.

  • Was only removed from footpaths and roads not the grassed banking. Its shocking.
