Parked vehicles regularly causing unsafe access from Gravel Hill properties.

Reported in the Other (non-highways) category anonymously at 16:07, Mon 27 July 2020

Sent to East Hampshire District Council and Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2218893.

Over the past several months, we have noticed cars parking within an "access loop" from the turning at the bottom of Gravel Hill. Cyclists and dog walkers in particular are using this area thinking it is a lay-by to avoid parking charges at nearby QECP. The result is that it is unsafe to exit onto the southbound London Road and large vehicles have to use the opposite carriageway rather than navigate around the traffic island. In my view, parking restrictions should be in force here as the clearway only begins a few metres north of this location.
