A pedestrian crossing is desperately needed to allow safe crossing for school children, elderly, residents and nursery parents/children. The area is currently unsafe to cross with the current flow of traffic and the spreed in which cars travel along this road. Many local residents find it very difficult to navigate, especially trying access public transport on the opposite side of the road. There are no alternative save crossings for at least half a mile either side. It’s only a matter of time before some is hit by a car causing a fatality.
