40 metre tarmac loose, cracked, unstable or missing. Underneath the tarmac the road is of a concrete construction. After years of water Coming from the nearby school (springs) I believe the original road has been undermined and is rocking, this becomes evident when a large vehicle such as a bus thunders over the damaged area. This part of Moorfields Road has been repaired (bodged) many times but they are just cosmetic, you are not getting to the root cause. If you stand by the chicane when a bus passes you can feel the road move like it’s an earthquake; and not only that, the terraced houses that border that area shake also, windows rattle and is only a matter of time before there’s a claim against the council

This issue is the same at the top of Moorfields Road, near the Oval, when a bus goes past, the houses shake and windows rattle as if in an earthquake.
