Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2196110.
The footpath between Plank Lane and the County/City boundary is obstructed by overgrown hedges. In many places the footpath is 50% obstructed at ground level and at head height hawthorn branches and brambles frequently extend across the entire path. The path is regularly used by pedestrians and cyclists who feel that it is unsafe to ride on the carriageway. The hedge line needs to be regularly trimmed back to the rear of the pavement to above head height to prevent injury to users and to enable the use of the full width.

Sat 25 Jul - walked this route again. The adjacent grass verge has been mown but the hedge has not been trimmed. Many hawthorn branches & brambles protruding across entire width of path. Please could you provide feedback on action to be taken.

The hedging has still not been cut back. I believe this is a health and safety risk due to the brambles sticking out of the hedge. These could cause injury to an adult/child walking or a toddler in a pushchair. Also due to the pathway being so narrow because of the overhanging hedgerow, it makes social distancing impossible in places
