Request for Vehicle Activated Signs on Sharp lane

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2191572.

Despite the fact that the road has potholes and useless speed bumps, traffic constantly travels at more than the speed limit (30mph). I was even told by one motorist 'I was travelling at 40mph ... what's the problem' Is it possible to get some Vehicle Activated Speed Signs erected ? This solution seems to work in other areas.

  • I've given up pretty much .... no reponse but the maniacs keep speeding along Sharp lane (LS10) waste of time asking for help if you ask me.

  • Four years later and the problem is still the same. What's the point of putting a sign at the bottom of Sharp Lane saying 'Police Speed Check' if it never happens. Majority of cars travelling by my house are going above the speed limit, even the number 9 bus !
