Overgrown shrubbery and trees blocking paths and making it unsafe for cyclists and pedestrians

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 23:03, Sun 5 July 2020

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2187024.

The pavements/cycling paths are not being maintained along the A5 between Wolvey Road and Logix Park. The trees and shrubbery is so overgrown in places that it pushes you on to the actual road. Cyclists would have to dismount or get clotheslined by the branches. Verges are not pushed back and the pavement becomes narrower every passing year. Please have an ongoing plan to make this a safe area for pedestrians and cyclists as it’s currently a lawsuit waiting to happen.
