Overgrown Trees and Possible Wall Collapse
Reported in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 13:21, Fri 3 July 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2184226.
There is a small strip of land in between my rear garden wall and the boundary line of Saltford Primary School which we believe is belonging to the local council. On this stretch of land are a large number of fir trees (possibly Leylandii) and Laurel trees that have now grown beyond control height wise but more importantly, they are now causing the dry stone wall in front of them, which faces into my garden, to bulge significantly so as to make it a "no go area" to myself, my family and especially my three young grandchildren for fear that the wall could collapse. I have contacted the Headmistress, the Office Manager and the School Caretaker to express my concerns who are all in agreement with me as to the risk of danger caused. I have the necessary contact details of the school should you need them. I have taken a close up, side view and a wide shot of the wall and trees as per your instruction above. This situation has been getting progressively worse due to the rate at which these particular trees grow at and now to the point where something needs to be done. Due to the safety aspect of this situation a swift response and resolution would be very much appreciated.
