Public right of way

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 15:53, Tue 30 June 2020

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2179698.

People, Dog walkers and motorbikes are using a gap in the hedge on Matthew's Court in Ashby de la Zouch as a cut through to and from the new housing estate. This is not and has never been a public access. The public footpath can however be accessed on Abby Drive and does take you past Matthew's Court. The hedgerow has been cut back and now there is a big gap encouraging people to cut through. This was once a very quiet and secure Cul de Sac. People have also been stealing from the Housing development site and have carried their loot through the gap in the hedge. This needs blocking off, preferably with fencing.
