No consistency in bus-stop demarkation or yellow lines on Cornwallis Road towards the Henley Avenue junction. There is a bus stop clearly marked out, outside the care home, albeit for the route in the opposite direction, towards Cowley Centre. The last bus stop on Cornwallis Road, towards the City Centre, is in desperate need of demarkation, as are the length of the yellow lines from Henley Avenue on to Cornwallis Road. Parked cars, almost on top of the junction, is causing many near misses, for other road users/ pedestrians, as is the speed of drivers. Many more 20mph repeater signs are desperately needed also, to discourage drivers from using Cornwallis road as a 'short cut ', a raised junction to actively slow traffic might be another option. The yellow lines, rounding the junction, from The Isis Care Home service road onto Cornwallis road ,actually fall short,(i.e. halfway )across, the drop kerbs/ wheelchair access points. These are totally inadequate and are not in keeping of the length of other yellow lines in nearby Iffley Turn/Iffley Village and pose a very serious threat/ danger to the vulnerable and aged people whom utilise the No.16 bus route and live in the care home. With intervention, these dangers can be radically minimised. Sincere thanks for your time.
