My end of St Peters road needs more parking spaces, we have people parking on pathways and on other streets away from the owner's addresses, because there are not enough parking spaces, there are grass area's that never get used, currently overgrown that could very easily be converted to 8 to 12 spaces, this would get most if not all the vehicles off the paths and other streets, I have mentioned this months ago, they said it was met with great enthusiasm but have done nothing since, WHY ?!?, it needs doing, ask anyone at this end of the street and not just those with vehicles and they will tell you the same, when the blocks of flats were built, they didn't take in the need for at least one space per flat, plus parking for the addresses on the other side of the street, and as garage rent prices have gone up, many of those who had them had to give them up, so more cars now pack the street, we need more spaces, and as I said, there are grass area's that never get used for anything else that could be easily converted, so what's stopping you, the issue has been here for 6 years at least, if not longer.

The local councillor said he is speaking to ORBIT about what can be done to improve the parking on my street, I did give them a suggestion, the only real option they have, this was a week or 2 ago, I've heard nothing since, there are 3 grass area's that could easily be converted, bit I doubt they will do anything at all.
