Grass on verges urgently needs strimming - danger to traffic

Reported in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 13:05, Thursday 25 June 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2172257.

The grass on both sides of this junction needs strimming as it's very difficult to see if it is safe to cross/turn in a vehicle. This is very urgent as particularly coming from Leafield towards Shipton there is a complete blindspot due to the long grass. I reported this problem last year only to be told that it was "on a grass cutting schedule" - a week after I reported it there was a serious collision here. Please, please send a crew to cut the grass here ASAP before there is another accident. It is only a small job and will make it so much safer for all road users. Thank you.
