Yes, please fix this quickly before someone gets hurt. There is so much talk about encouraging cycling, but no investment in making cycling safe. Up and down the High street are pot holes and holes around access hatches that make cycling to the left hazardous. It forces cyclists to choose between hitting a huge pothole and losing control, or dodging the holes and potentially getting hit by a car.
It’s high time to make changes and to improve cycling in Oxford, but it won’t happen until the city makes a brave and future-oriented decision to start prioritising cyclists and pedestrians over motorists.

It’s shameful. It seems like the only useful improvement made has been the widening of the bicycle lanes on Magdalen Bridge... a few hundred metres of road. Why is this so difficult?!
