According to Rule 243 you MUST NOT park at or near a bus stop, this van is parked at the bus stop and has done so for at least for 4 weeks with no signs of being moved in all that time. Buses having difficulties getting through when other vehicles parked legally further along. This is causing a danger for bus passengers and for vehicles entering the village as its on a slight bend.

  • The van has been there deliberately parked in front of the bus stop to cause all traffic entering into the village and leaving out of the village the biggest possible obstacle. There is no logical reason for this parking position other than to stop the bus from stopping outside the house opposite the bus stop. The bus stop is not a new bus stop so must have been a known condition when the owner of the lorry moved to the village. The lorry is a dangerous nuisance to the entry and exit of villagers to the village and for our bus service. Please can the Council take legal action before we face some kind of accident here.
